What we do

The Inclusion Group provides a support service for young people and adults with additional support needs.  Our ethos is that EVERYONE BELONGS and our service users take part in a wide range of activities within their local community.  With support, some volunteer for other organisations such as Riding for the Disabled, Cats' Protection League and Cambo House, so not only are they participating in the life of their community, they are making their own contribution to help others.

Our service is strictly person centred.  Everyone is different, so each person's timetable is their own.  Each service user chooses how they would like to spend their time with our support, and our highly trained and dedicated support workers work with them to achieve their aims.  It could be a shopping trip, a visit to the cinema or concert, swimming, meeting friends at one of our clubs or activities, learning a new skill – the list is as long as our client's imagination.  Our service is built around their needs and aspirations.

Please have a look at our 2017 Annual Report.  It's available here as a downloadable pdf file. This will give you much information about what we do.  We hope to do more still in 2018, so please watch this space!
