Training

The Inclusion Group believes in a learning culture, that's why we train our own staff to a high quality and also offer training to other agencies to ensure everyone can provide excellent care for the local community.

SVQs Level 3 and 4 in Care

Our staff are supported and encouraged to achieve SVQs and we are working to ensure that all support staff are qualified to SVQ 3 standard as a minimum

Specialist Workers

Individual staff are encouraged to develop their own interests and skills in specialist areas and to access training to further develop our services and support. These include Sensory Activity Programs, Sex and Relationships, Mental Health First Aid and Personal Outcome Processes with the aim of sharing the knowledge across our team.

In-house Training Staff

Clients and volunteers also attend a wide range of training from Infection Control, Risk Assessment, and People Protection Awareness and more in-depth training on a variety of subjects such as Autism, ADHD, Communication, PWS and Intensive Interaction based not simply on the latest theories and research but the years of experience and knowledge gained from our clients and families.

Training available for other agencies

Our training is now available to other organisations and groups and can be specifically tailored to meet their needs.

We also offer training in the following areas to other organisations:-

  • Scottish Mental Health First Aid Certificate
  • Moving and Handling
